KCNA imagery of the "Unmanned Aerial Technology Development-2026" exhibition released on 30 October showed for the first time a flying-wing stealth UAV resembling Russia's S-70, alongside the Saetbyol-4 and -9, a Lancet-like loitering munition and FPV suicide drones said to be fibre-optic guided, with demonstrated strikes on mock-ups of a South Korean guard post and a US M1 tank. A South Korean defence ministry official called delays in acquiring drones and AI under the Defense Acquisition Program Act "a serious problem" and said the ministry would push legislation and adopt civilian technology. The stealth airframe's flight status and the claimed "100 per cent accuracy" are North Korean assertions.
