At its Taipei brand launch on 28 October, Taiwan's AerosoarX (founded April 2026) signed MOUs with Rajant (mesh networking) and SiMa.ai (onboard AI processing) for AI-enabled FPV drones that process sensor data onboard with less dependence on ground control, targeting production readiness in November. Chairman Max Lo questioned whether the defence ministry needs to stockpile nearly 10,000 drones a month and called for distributed manufacturing with assembly hubs in Vietnam and Malaysia and common standards set before any blockade. No response from the ministry has been reported.
