On 27 October Anduril and Qualcomm unveiled BlueChip, a rugged laptop built on Snapdragon X silicon for military, government, law-enforcement and first-responder users, with orders to open in 2027. Chips are to be made at TSMC's Arizona fab and boards assembled at Anduril's Arsenal-1 plant in Ohio; Palmer Luckey said the bill of materials is about 90% US and allied at roughly a 20% cost premium over high-end PCs, and acknowledged that the display panel still depends on China. The companies put the rugged-computing market at about USD 5 billion and position BlueChip as the first of a product line.
